Everything depends on your language skills - because a good Abitur is simply not possible without a good level of German. Experience has shown that the most important goal for entering school is the B2 level. Only then are all the peculiarities of German grammar deepened and only then is a sufficient vocabulary available. Until a few years ago, many Chinese parents did not recognize the great importance of the linguistic basis or were convinced that their children could learn the German language "in the meantime" in school. We know from experience that this cannot be achieved, which is why we developed individual language concepts at an early stage and, on the other hand, also endeavored to educate the parents and the receiving schools. The success of our language concepts and those students who went through them and achieved excellent grades in their German schools proves that we are right, so that our language programs have now become very popular among Chinese parents. GEP SVK

In order to get our students ready to go to school, we have specially designed a school preparation course (SVK Schulvorbereitungskurs) that prepares our students for everyday German school life not only in terms of language, but also in terms of content and culture. In addition to the B2 level, our SVK students are also equipped with a broad repertoire of specific vocabulary in order to be able to find their way better in natural sciences and humanities subjects. English lessons are not neglected either, because without regular English lessons and due to the focus on the German language, previously acquired English skills can quickly be forgotten. Small individual deficits can be compensated with additional individual tutoring. After nine months of SVK, the graduates travel to their respective boarding schools across Germany. Our host family concept has established itself as an important part of the SVK in order to lovingly cushion the initial “cultural shock” and to be able to give the students a feeling of family home. Intercultural trainings organized by GEP and regular common leisure activities complete the cultural package.

Individual one-to-one tutoring

Individual one-to-one language courses enable a high degree of individuality and flexibility. Our one-to-one language courses are particularly suitable, for example, for students who have already acquired their first language skills in an exchange year and now want to systematically deepen their knowledge of school, or for students in China who are waiting for their visas to be issued and want to make good use of the waiting time. Our offline and online language courses are also suitable for students who are already going to school in Germany and want to build up on the B2 level.

Ongoing face-to-face courses

Longstanding and excellent partners guarantee good language teaching in ongoing face-to-face courses at various locations throughout Germany. Entry into ongoing language courses is particularly useful for those students who can already demonstrate a basic language level or who have already been to Germany. Ongoing courses are offered by our partner language schools DID Deutsch-Institut, Alpha Aktiv Language Academy, Goethe-Institut and Humboldt-Institut, among others.
